Did You Know?
Stanley Milgram conducted a famous & shocking psychology experiment in 1963 which showed how good people can do bad things.
Ordinary members of the public were asked to give electric shocks to someone who got simple questions incorrect. The shocks were fake but participants did not know this. 65% of participants gave the increasingly severe shocks all the way up to 450v!
When asked why they did it, the vast majority said that they were just following orders.
